The Calder Railroad

This is the start of my indoor railway. I haven't selected a name yet. It will run the length of the kitchen and family rooms on wooden door valences that were installed during our recent remodeling project. I thought it is a much better idea to put a model train up there instead of the beer can collection our decorator suggested.

This will be much warmer than the garage where the famous Aubreyville and Johnstown Railroad resided. Yes, sadly the A & J RR no longer resides in our household. Somewhat like a kitten, it went "free to a good home".
